tl:dr:  Zinc and some commonly available OTC supplements that act as ionophores screw with coof, and other viri being able to replicate.  I think a lot of us took zinc when we had a cold or whatnot, and it sorta helped, maybe didn't, but there seems to be a missing ingredient.  Not missing now.
