Had something very similar in the early 1980s. One whole kilobyte of memory, that is, 1000 bytes. The challenge was to write programmes that used every single byte, and not one byte more - the things you could do with basic. A great little machine that got me hooked on computers. My next was an Epson, with 500K! Gosh!
